Boss Media - International Poker Network
Boss Media, based in Sweden, is a world-leading creator of innovative e-gaming software and solutions.
Boss Media was founded in 1996. Their headquarters is stationed in Sweden. After releasing Gold Club Casino in 1997, many investors and companies became interested in purchasing Boss Media’s casino software. Soon thereafter, Boss Media shifted their focus on the creation of internet casino solutions for clients. Boss Media sold its internet casino in February 2004 to focus entirely on perfecting the e-gaming solutions it develops for clients.
Boss Media has developed customised solutions for gaming and betting corporations that wish to provide their customers
with a dynamic variety of attractive interactive games that can be enjoyed at any time on Internet-enabled PCs,
mobile phones, and handheld computers as well as through interactive digital television or state-of-the-art
Interactive Video Terminal (IVT) systems. In addition to a poker application, Boss Media features Flash Poker which is designed for fast, easy play. Players can quickly log into the action directly from their web browsers. This brings online poker to players that are unable to download the poker client.
Boss Media manages the International Poker Network, the platform for over 35 poker rooms including: Paradise Poker, Virgin Poker, Poker Kings, InterPoker, and Fortune Poker. With so many poker rooms, their network is huge and still growing! At 12PM on September 28, 2009, 7,319 players were online playing poker.
Boss Media is one of the rooms that does NOT accept US players since the release of the UIGEA.
Boss Media's software runs many online casinos. They are relatively newer to the online poker industry, but the
Boss Media Poker Network, also known as the International Poker Network, is gaining new poker room additions, increasing
the overall activity on their network. The International Poker Network consists of over 30 internet poker rooms, with more
joining all the time.
