Bugsys Club Poker Network
Bugsys Club Poker is a joint venture of investors who had a goal to create the best online poker games available today. It was created “by poker players for poker players” using feedback from thousands of people before going live. Bugsys Club is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission; which is the holder of more than 300 online poker and casino rooms.
Prior to releasing its poker network in 2003, the software was in development for 18 months at PokerPages.com and PokerSchoolOnline. During this time, players played over 100,000,000 hands of play money giving their input. From this feedback, they launched what they feel to be “the best online gaming experience today.”
Since its launch, Bugsys Club Poker has seen medium growth. It isn’t near the top of the online poker giants today, but has an average of 3,000 people connected during peak hours. As compared to other poker networks, Bugsys Club has a pretty small population, putting it around 20 in the most popular networks around today. Bugsys Club Poker currently only has one skin on the network.
Bugsys Club Poker is one of the current networks that still accepts US players since the gambling legislation that was passed in 2006.
I would expect to see a growth in Bugsys Club in the near future, as long as they keep up with their promise, which is “Promise continued development of poker software, including continued incorporation of customer feedback.”
