True Poker Poker Network
The True Poker Network is owned by TPCR Development SRL, which is a Costa Rican based corporation. Their hold company is TrueCashier Ltd, which is operated in Ireland. They are licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission; which is the holder of more than 300 online poker and casino rooms.
The True Poker Network was formed by a team of avid poker players and industry leading software developers in 2001. They’re goal is to provide a very technical interface with a “real life” experience at the tables. They hold integrity and security on a very high level.
The software that True Poker runs was developed by Spacemental Productions, and is based around a 3D poker experience. Although you do need a good computer to run it, when it was released it was a one of a kind interface. It is a break from the same old “point and click” 2d tables that you see most poker rooms today run.
True Poker is one of the current networks that still accepts US players since the gambling legislation that was passed in 2006.
There are at least two poker rooms that use the True Poker network as a skin. Although this network has been around for quite some time, it doesn’t have a very large player base. On average you will find around 1000 players connected, which is still enough to find a game for your limit.
